Our expertise

The team behind Nawab pay respectful homage to India’s eclectic mix of aromatic and flavoursome dishes. Its extensive menu is a patriotic recreation of some of the country’s most well-known recipes, and lovingly brings the past back to life in the process. Highly spiced king prawn puree; duck tikka; chicken pakora, and a pepper stuffed with a choice of filling are classic introductions to Nawab’s food catalogue. Mains are equally as authentic in origin, with a host of dishes from which to select a personal favourite. Tandoori trout; Bangladeshi fish in hot spices; tender Goan crab meat, and single rib lamb chops are amongst the generous array. Or why not try the sultan special? The menu also features an award-winning curry called kadai gosht masala which is a popular dish of the late Pathiala Punjabi aristocracy. Indeed, there are lots of examples of foodstuffs on the menu with roots firmly planted in the past. To dine at Nawab, therefore, is to experience something of India’s history whilst enjoying all the comforts this twenty-first century eatery has to offer
